AssetWise is aggressively expanding into Phuket’s hospitality market with three new hotel projects under IHG Hotels & Resorts brands, covering nearly every major hospitality segment in the island’s booming tourism market.
VOCO Phuket Bangtao — a 175-key lifestyle hotel scheduled to open in 2027, becoming only the second VOCO property in Thailand.
Hotel Indigo Phuket Nai Yang Beach — a 170-key boutique lifestyle hotel currently under development, targeted to open in 2028.
Staybridge Suites Phuket Bangtao — a large-scale 344-key extended-stay hotel also planned for a 2027 opening.
With the addition of VOCO, Hotel Indigo, and Staybridge Suites, AssetWise is positioning itself strongly across multiple travel segments, from lifestyle and boutique hospitality to long-stay accommodations, while further reinforcing Phuket’s status as one of Thailand’s hottest hotel investment destinations.
CP Land is officially entering Thailand’s rapidly growing budget hotel market with its new “bedZ” hotel brand, intensifying competition against major players such as B2 Hotel, Hop Inn, GO! Hotel, and even hospitality projects linked to the PTT Group.
The company plans to launch a total of 15 bedZ hotels nationwide, strategically targeting key provincial cities and growth destinations within CP Land’s mixed-use developments and urban projects.
Chonburi (Ban Bueng)
Nakhon Si Thammarat
Surat Thani (Mueang District)
Khon Kaen (Mueang District)
Nakhon Ratchasima (Khao Yai)
Chiang Mai (expected)
The expansion reflects CP Land’s strategy to strengthen its ecosystem in major regional cities by integrating affordable hospitality into its broader mixed-use city developments. With domestic tourism and regional business travel continuing to grow, the budget hotel segment is becoming one of Thailand’s hottest hospitality battlegrounds.
